    AMH POS is the superior alternative to an electronic cash register. You can scan the barcodes of items and ring up sales, apply relevant discounts and process the payment in a few easy steps.

     

    If for any reason you can not read an item's barcode ( missing or damaged barcode), you can either type few letters of its name, or its item code, or its manufacturing number and the intelligent search will find it for you. If more than one product is found, it will display the list and let you select the desired one.

  • Multiple Price Levels

    You can assign different price levels for employees, special customers, wholesaler customers, promotions, friends, family or any other group. When selecting a customer at purchase time. His assigned pricing level will be automatically used.

    In addition to accepting cash, check and gift certificate payments, AMH POS features payment on account capability. You can allow preferred customers to pay on account and assign credit limits. You can view each customer sales/payments history anytime.
  • Advanced Search

    You can search the inventory for specific items with specific attributes and within a price range. This will enhance customer support by providing choices, pricing and availability on the fly.
  • Discount Management

    Flexible discounts can be applied according to the operator security level. For example a manager can give discount that an associate can not.

     

    You can assign discounts to a specific item, specific category or all items.

     

    The amount of the discount can be entered on fly by the operator (usually Manager), or predetermined by the customer's assigned discount (preferred customers) , or determined by the discount itself ( i.e. 5% discount on Shirts).
  • End of Day Operations

    You can generate closeout reports (Z-out) on each register, perform cash drawer count. The system have an automatic daily backup that is performed every night. You can also perform manual backup/restore anytime you wish.
  • Sales History

    All receipts (Sales, Returns, voided ones) are kept in the system. You can handle return items with great ease since you can retrieve the original receipt and process the returned items. Receipt cannot be deleted, they can only be voided. This will allow you to track mistakes and enhance security and training of associates.
  • Multiple Format Receipts

    You can generate sales receipts, gift receipts on Epson or Star-Micronics receipt printers or use a regular printer for large format invoice. The receipt header and footer are fully customizable. Long notes can be be printed at the end ( i.e. return policy, promotions, etc...)

You can compare the physical count of an item to the quantity shown in the computer anytime, thus shrinkage is immediately discovered and corrected. Your inventory count will always stay accurate.
  • Generate Barcode Labels Lists

    You can print tags with barcode according to a label template.
    Note: The design of the label template is done with another barcode label design program. AMH POS just build the list with the proper information and send it to the barcode label design program which in turn send it to a barcode printer. This will allow you to create unlimited number of templates for labels and tags with different colors, sizes, styles and shapes.

    AMH POS system provides 11 levels of accessibility ( Associate, Assistant, Manager, ..., Owner, Administrator). Every function have an accessibility level associated with it that you can change according to your business needs. Operators can perform functions associated with their security levels and below. For example an operator with "Manager" accessibility level can perform all the functions associated with "Associate", "Assistant", and "Manager" levels but not functions associated with "Owner" level.
